In part one, I discussed supplements and how allergies can render them null and void by the very fact that if you’re allergic to your supplements your body will either ignore them or turn them into a toxin. Read on to learn what else you should know about why your supplements may not be working.

Other reasons that your supplements may not be working according to Dr. Peter Glidden are your supplements are of low quality. The same applies to super-foods as they are similar to supplements and may even be better because they are a whole food source if you get a high quality product. Unfortunately, there are many products on the market that are of low quality.

Also, when you’re taking a good supplement you have to take enough of it and take it long enough. And don’t forget these nutrients have to be absorbed. If you have a leaky gut or other gut or digestive problem then your food/supplements may not be absorbed. So you not only have to take high quality supplements, enough of them to do some good (under the advice of your doctor of course), and you have to take them long enough, but you have to be able to absorb them and they have to be the specific nutrients your body needs.

Another reason that your supplements may not be working is something that not many people realize is that you could have some negative energies in your biofield that are causing you problems and not allowing you to get well. A good Reiki master who is also qualified in other forms of energy healing would be good to visit.

YOUR REAL PROBLEM IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED

Then again maybe the supplements aren’t working because you aren’t really addressing the real problem. You could have Lyme disease or parasites or any number of other problems that are so severe that they override the good the supplements are trying to do.

One of the best ways to ensure that your supplements are working is to be sure that you are not allergic to them, and that you are taking high quality natural vitamins and minerals and you’re taking them long enough and enough of them to do some good. The prescribing of supplements should be done under the supervision of a qualified health care practitioner for safety and for best results.
