I can already feel the difference. It’s being called the “mother of all meditations” and it is already changing my life for the better. One of the best things a person can do for their health is to learn to meditate especially this type of meditation called “Transcendental Meditation.” It’s easy to learn, powerful and works fast – in just 4 days I’m already seeing significant results and feeling more calm. Join me and my guest Prudence Farrow Bruns as we continue our discussion of Transcendental Meditation on this week’s show.
Prudence Farrow Bruns is from a famous Hollywood family her father was a successful Hollywood producer and director and her mother was Maureen O’Sullivan, the first Jane in the Tarzan and Jane movies- plus she was in many more movies in her career, and her sister is Mia Farrow, and Prudence has a quite a history herself, she has her doctorate in Sanskrit from UC Berkley in California, she’s an expert and highly respected teacher of Transcendental Meditation. She’s also a speaker and author of the book, “Dear Prudence- The Story Behind the Song” a song written by none other than John Lennon who wrote this song about her after he meet her and saw her dedication to TM.
Transcendental Meditation helps our body to heal itself by helping it to get out of the flight or fight state which is a stressed state that most of us are in on a continual basis. It’s harder for the body to heal and repair itself when it’s in that state. Another very important thing TM does is to help free us of the many emotional issues that goes on in our minds on a continual basis. Things like fears, phobias, inhibitions and other things that holds us back. When we get in touch with our TRUE self through meditation and calm our minds, it’s amazing what the body and mind can rid itself of and with this comes a newfound freedom.
